Hi, I'm
Vivek Patel
Product Engineer · CS × Econ @ Penn State
I build full-stack products — and think hard about why they win.
About
I'm Vivek — a product engineer who likes to ship the whole thing, from the first line of code to the deploy. My CS side builds real, full-stack products; my Econ side keeps asking who they're for and why they win. I care as much about the market a product lives in as the code that runs it.
More about meNow
What I'm building now
Front Run
Turning our hackathon build into something real: an autonomous AI SDR that reaches freshly-funded startups on day zero by reading SEC filings the day they post. I own the outreach and reply loop end-to-end.
Symbolic execution research
With Penn State's program analysis group. We co-authored a paper on whether LLMs can simulate KLEE's symbolic execution output (arXiv 2511.08530); now I'm exploring LLM-driven optimization of execution paths.
Sharpening the craft
Going deeper on multi-agent systems and the economics of the products I build — the two halves I keep trying to fuse into one.
Selected work
Things I've built
A few things I've built end-to-end — from same-day AI outreach to campus-scale automation.
Front Run
July 2026AWS Builder Hackathon · San Francisco · team of 4
An autonomous AI sales rep that reaches freshly-funded startups on day zero — before the news even breaks.
OCR Pipeline
May 2024 – PresentPenn State
Turning a manual mailroom bottleneck into a hands-off pipeline that clears 1,000–1,500 packages a day.
Let's build something
I'm open to product-engineering roles and always up for a good conversation.
